Christopher Bailey turned Burberry into a global brand, creating must-haves from the classic Burberry check designs. However earlier during London Fashion Week, after sending out his final collection, Christopher Bailey officially stepped down as the Chief Creative Officer selecting Riccardo Tisci as the new Chief Creative Officer to replace him.

Tisci has worked with celebrities such as Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid and many more familiar names, creating memorable gowns for award shows and ceremonies and all of his pieces had been show-stoppers at all the events. Since the news made headlines on newspapers and online, Burberry shares have shot up 5 percent, as investors confidently welcome the familiar and popular face, hopeful that he may help drive the stagnant sales.

Having previously collaborated with Nike and creating a streetwear vibe with Givenchy, there are more hopes for streetwear succeeding in the luxury fashion industry.
